Success at the British Pie Awards 2017
Camilleri Kitchen has, once again, achieved success at the 2017 British Pie Awards organised by the Melton Mowbray Pork Pie Association on Wednesday 8th March. This success continues to add on to the achievements of past years and continues to build on the reputation of the company as a leading producer of pies in the region.
This year’s awards acknowledged ‘Tottie’s Steak & Stilton Pie’ as Class Champion in the Beef & Cheese Class. This pie has always been one of the best creations at Camilleri Kitchen and this award confirms our continuous belief in its success.
Our other pie, winning recognition at the British Pie Awards this year, is the ‘Tottie’s Chicken, Ham Hock, Mushroom and Truffle Oil Pie’. This is a speciality of the company and is produced only for special orders. A long time was taken in the production of this particular pie till the company was satisfied with the end result. The hours of preparation has paid off as the pie has been ‘Highly Commended’.
